Prospect House

Client Objectives:

NHS Northamptonshire supported the relocation of two practices into single new premises with additional space for providing community health services and outpatient services. Both practices needed to continue operating as separate entities each with its own identity in the new building.

  • Development of a 3,600 sq m health centre to accommodate two practices and an extensive range of associated community health services, out-of-hours services and a dental practice.
  • The site was the location of a former tannery so Brackley undertook comprehensive remediation works to bring the site up to a developable standard.
  • Brackley optimally used the site area by fitting a 3,600 sq m health centre plus 80 car parking spaces onto a 1.25-acre site.
  • Brackley worked with the PCT on premises design enabling the delivery of local services inherently minimising referrals to the acute sector.

Construction started in January 2007 and was completed in March 2008.
