Client Objectives:
A byword in the company for stamina and persistence, the doctors and Brackley worked for many years to find a suitably located site that was affordable to NHS Wales to allow the doctors to relocate from the outmoded and undersized single-storey health centre.
Development Solution:
Working with Vale of Glamorgan Council, part of the vacated St Cyres School annexe was identified as a site suitable to deliver a new two-storey medical centre building providing enhanced services to 10,000 patients in the expanding settlement of Dinas Powys.
Development Outcome:
Construction of the development started in March 2015 and was completed in March 2016.
The 1,245 sq m two-storey building provides accommodation for:
- Dinas Powys Medical Practice,
- Cardiff & Vale University Local Health Board,
- Murch Pharmacy.
